Hello everyone,
I need help with my Deye SUN-15K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 and abnormal behaviour in Zero Export to CT mode.
The system has three external CT clamps and a Dyness battery of approximately 23 kWh. There is no Huawei inverter at this location.
The inverter previously operated normally in CT mode. After Home Assistant Modbus control was configured earlier this year, I noticed the following:
-
In Zero Export to CT mode, the inverter’s own screen shows a negative house-load value and power flowing from the house.
-
On one occasion, it initially appeared normal, then developed these symptoms and shut down after approximately one hour. I have not yet retrieved the fault code.
-
In Zero Export to Load mode, the system appears to operate normally.
-
Disabling the Home Assistant control did not resolve the CT-mode problem.
I suspect that a persistent setting may have changed, but I have not established the cause. The exact CT placement, direction and phase assignment still need to be independently verified.
I also have a separate 12 kW Deye installation with similar symptoms. However, I would like to focus this discussion on the 15 kW system to avoid mixing up the two installations.
Has anyone experienced similar behaviour with this model? Which inverter settings and measurements should be checked first? Could a setting changed through Modbus affect CT measurement or its interpretation after HA control is disabled?
I can provide photographs of the settings and operating screens. Please tell me which pages and fault-history information would be most useful.
Thank you for your help.
Did you take the CT test at the Deye?
aber jeder wie er will.
