I have a question regarding a possible master–slave inverter configuration with separate battery banks.
Current situation / plan:
-
Battery model A: Felicity LUX-Y-48300LG01 (15 kWh)
-
Battery model B: Felicity FLB48314TG1 (16 kWh)
-
Inverter model: Deye 6 kW hybrid
Since these two battery models should not be mixed on the same inverter (especially in closed-loop BMS operation), I would like to understand if the following setup is supported and works reliably:
-
Two Deye inverters configured in a master–slave (parallel) configuration
-
Each inverter connected to its own dedicated battery bank
-
Inverter 1 → LUX-Y-48300LG01
-
Inverter 2 → FLB48314TG1
-
-
Each inverter communicates only with its own battery BMS (closed loop)
-
No batteries shared or paralleled between inverters
Questions:
-
Is this architecture supported by Deye?
-
Will the master–slave inverter communication work correctly if each inverter has a different battery model and capacity?
-
Are there any known limitations regarding SOC synchronization, charge/discharge coordination, or fault handling in this setup?
-
Any specific configuration settings or precautions recommended?
The goal is to keep each battery system electrically and logically independent, while still operating the inverters together as a single system.
Thanks in advance for any insights or real-world experience.
1) No
2) No
3) every you can think of, and more
4) don't do it
Do all this with two High Voltage Deye and a High Voltage Battery for each.
aber jeder wie er will.
